01 / Shaded tea cultivation
85%–95% full shading.
High-density shade coverage before harvest supports chlorophyll and L-theanine production while suppressing polyphenol synthesis. The result is a savory umami profile with a distinct nori aroma.

Single-estate craft tea
High-mountain tencha from a single estate, cultivated, refined, and milled for coffee shops that need quality matcha at scale.
Follow the processOrigin
Pure Origin is sourced from the Mount Fanjing highlands in Guizhou, where tea fields meet mountain air and a mist-shrouded growing environment.

The land
Situated inside the Mount Fanjing core protected ecological zone, the estate has a mist-shrouded climate with high diurnal temperature swings. This microclimate supports amino acid and chlorophyll accumulation in the tea plant.
The six-step process
Follow the complete journey from shaded tea cultivation through refinement, milling, sterilization, and clean-room packaging.

01 / Shaded tea cultivation
High-density shade coverage before harvest supports chlorophyll and L-theanine production while suppressing polyphenol synthesis. The result is a savory umami profile with a distinct nori aroma.

02 / Fresh leaf harvesting
After net removal, leaves are rapidly transported to avoid heat fermentation, then thinly spread on arrival to dissipate surface moisture and support uniform hydration for processing.

03 / Tencha processing
To craft Tencha, matcha’s raw material, fresh leaves undergo brief steam fixation and air cooling without rolling. Dried in specialized kilns to become flat and crisp, they are refined via winnowing, sifting, and color sorting to completely remove stems and veins, leaving only tender leaf flesh for pure Tencha.
04 / Matcha refinement process
Specialized equipment precisely removes stems, veins, and mature leaves, preserving only tender leaf tissue. By completely eliminating coarse fibers that cause harsh bitterness and grittiness, this step creates an ultra-smooth, velvety mouthfeel for the final matcha right from the source.
05 / Ultra-fine milling
Refined, stemless Tencha is ground in continuous ball mills down to an ultra-fine particle size of 5–10 microns. Low-temperature slow milling prevents heat degradation of aroma and chlorophyll, resulting in a vibrant emerald-green powder with a silky texture that easily whips into a rich, velvety froth while retaining its full flavor profile.
06 / Sterilization & packaging
Post-milling matcha undergoes low-temperature physical sterilization to protect its vibrant color and delicate aroma from heat damage. It is swiftly packaged and sealed inside a dust-free cleanroom to shield against moisture and light. Cold-stored to lock in peak freshness, the finished product maintains stable powder quality and an extended shelf life.
Matcha grades
Higher stars indicate deeper green color, more umami, and less astringency. Product prices will be added with the wholesale catalog.
